One Player Reads this scene: “Derek drank 10 cups of Dick’s coffee.”
The rest of the Players could write on slips of paper (or text/email) to give back to the reader to read these possible scene explanations:
- Player 1) Derek went to Jim’s house for 10 days. Derek was a regular coffee drinker.
- Player 2) Derek did it on a dare from Dick
- Player 3) Derek came second in the International Milk drinking contest, and needed balance.
- Player 4) He liked the coffee at Dick’s café.
- Player 5) Derek hated Dick’s early bird business meetings
- Player 6) Derek made a whole pot of coffee at work. His boss Dick, called him in to the special meeting. Derek saw the coffee and hated leaving things go to waste.
- Player 7) Derek had a strange craving for someone else’s drinks. Recently he drank 7 cups of Jane’s lemonade.
- Player 8) Derek had a midterm exam the next morning and was studying all night at Dick’s
- Player 9) Derek was a bit of a jerk.
- Player 10) Derek drank all the coffee in the building so that Dick would fall asleep during his presentation
- Player 11) Derek was trying to stop Dick from drinking his usual 20 cups a day
- Player 12) Derek’s corporate mug was the size of his daughter’s doll cup
