One Player Reads this scene: “Jack told Linda he couldn’t text her because it cost too much.”
The rest of the Players could write on slips of paper (or text/email) to give back to the reader to read these possible scene explanations:
- Player 1) Jack was only 5 years old and could not afford a data or text plan for another 6 months
- Player 2) Nancy knew Jack was a cheap skate and always bought 10 year old cell phones with no texting capabilities
- Player 3) Jack was lying
- Player 4) Jack did not know the definition of texting as he was a technical dinosaur
- Player 5) Jack was told by his father that each text cost him $100
- Player 6) Jack texted all day long at school as was finally threatened to be expelled if he texted 1 more time
