•Player 2) Paula had a new skate-dancing partner called He-man who had a reputation of throwing his partner around too fast
•Player 3) New safety regulations came in requiring all figure skaters to wear hockey helmets
•Player 4) Paula fell in love with one of the hockey stars so it was her way of showing her secret love affair with a number on her helmet
•Player 5) Paula was an all around athlete and was playing hockey on rink B and figure skating on rink A and didn’t want the crowd to see her hockey hair
