One Player Reads this scene: “Ted sat on the game ball.”
The rest of the Players could write on slips of paper (or text/email) to give back to the reader to read these possible scene explanations:
- Player 1) Ted played center on the football team and was always tired so he sat on the ball before hiking it
- Player 2) Ted was a fan that ran on the soccer field after a bad call from the referee and thought sitting on the ball would change the referee’s call
- Player 3) Ted won the super bowl many times and had game balls all over the house so he often would sit on a game ball by mistake
- Player 4) Ted sat on the loose baseball while sliding into home plate to stop the catcher from getting it and tagging him out
- Player 5) Ted was one of the football referees and slipped on top of the game ball when measuring to see if the offence had made 10 yards for a first down
- Player 6) Ted did not like the game of murder ball during gym class so he sat on the ball all day at school to make a protest
