One Player Reads this scene: “The cashier did not tell Penny about the contest.”

The rest of the Players could write on slips of paper (or text/email) to give back to the reader to read these possible scene explanations:

  • Player 1) Penny started dating the same guy the cashier was dating
  • Player 2) The contest was for 18 and over and Penny was only 7
  • Player 3) The cashier was pocketing all the contest money
  • Player 4) The cashier knew nothing about the contest since she arrived very late to all the staff meetings
  • Player 5) The contest ended at noon that day and Penny arrived at the checkout at 11:59:59
  • Player 6) The cashier just broke up with Penny and was not on speaking terms
  • Player 7) The cashier was so in love with Penny that he was speechless when she came near him
  • Player 8) The cashier wanted to win the banana eating contest and knew Penny was the only one that could beat him
